January Favorites

I am finally bringing my Monthly Favorites back! Yay! I haven't done this since I transfered to Blogger. And omg, this blog just turned one year! ♥ I made a poll on Twitter if you want me to do a 2017 Beauty Favorites or just do Monthly Favorites again. 2017 Beauty Favorites won. But I got really busy last week with my work and January is ending soon, so I've decided to do the Monthly Favorites instead. Sorry! *peace sign*

Let's start with..

SKIN CARE

✿ T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel

Melissa of melissathemermaid.com recommended this product in 2017 because I had a hard time finding the right toner for me. The ones that I've tried caused breakout on my skin. I finally gave in and bought one for me to try. I bought this last November from Healthy Options. This product is really gentle on the skin and cleanses it really well without any sting.

✿ Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This is so far the best micellar water I have tried. I have tried the L'Oreal one. It made my eyes hurt and irritated making it hard to remove my eye makeup. This product is so easy to find you can buy it from the supermarket. I just wanted to try it at first so I bought the small one. Will definitely buy the bigger one next time.

Propolis Honey Ample Light (Nature SC/GK)

You know me. I always get curious on everything. Haha! I haven't tried any product like this before. Patricia of patriciadenise.com is so kind and gave me one bottle the first time we met. Thank you so much, Pat! I am on my second bottle now. I use it at night after applying toner.

MAKEUP

★ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (128 Warm Nude Beige)

One of the most raved foundation online. Haha. Many beauty gurus included this on their Best Makeup of 2017. No doubt! The finish of this foundation is so good! It looks natural and the shade really suits my skin. It is affordable. I bought it on sale for 299 pesos, I think? It's not that long lasting for me though.

★ Maybelline Magnum Big Shot Mascara

Corinth of explorewithcorinth.com recommended this mascara when I watched her live on Instagram. At first I didn't know they already launched it here in the Philippines. I instantly bought it the first time I saw it on the counter. It costs 350 pesos. It has become one of my favorite because it looks natural and it doesn't weight down my lashes even with two or more coats.

★ Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (20 Sand)

I bought this concealer for 149 pesos. I like this concealer because it doesn't cake and the coverage is buildable. I don't wear foundation on a regular basis. Whenever I go out, I just use this concealer to cover my pimple marks and my dark circles, then set it with powder.

★ Vice Cosmetics Phenomenal Liquid Lipstick (Hanash)

I gave in to the hype and bought this liquid lipstick at BeautyMNL. The shade really caught my attention. I don't have any thing like this before. Hanash is one of their new shades. I will definitely buy one again, but different shade maybe.

★ Mac Lipsitck (Taupe)

To be honest, this is my first ever highend makeup. Haha! Ever since I started using makeup, I really wonder what is the difference of the highend lipsticks from the drugstore and why do people still buy it even though it is expensive. Now, I think I know the reason. Haha! I really like the formula. It is matte but it is not drying and patchy on the lips. Taupe is a MLBB shade.

★ Pony Effect Deep and Pure Tint

I've made a review on this tints. Click HERE for the review. This product has become my go-to tint ever since I bought it. I always have one on my bag.

★ Peripera | Airy Ink Velvet (Glimpse Brick Brown)

I've been using this product for more than four months already. Whenever I put this on, the product really blends well on the lips and it makes my lip way better.

★ Karadium Pucca Love Edition Pop Tint

Yes, I've become a lip tint girl in 2017. Haha! What I like about this product is it's longevity. This product really lasts for so long. I recently bought a new shade and I think it is more wearable on a daily basis. The one that I first bought was a berry shade. I will make a review soon, so watch out ;)

★ EB Advance Blush Duo (Baked Fig)

I don't use tints on my cheeks. This product is not too overwhelming for a blush. It has that old rose shade which is very pretty. You can mix both shades if you want a more subtle and natural blush on your cheeks.

MOVIE

Pitch Perfect 3

I've been a fan of Pitch Perfect since the first movie. I just can't believe that this is the last one. Sad! Pitch Perfect 3 may not be the best for me, but it is indeed astounding. I didn't expect those action scenes. Fat Amy crushed it! Haha!

So that's it for this month. If you want me to do a separate reivew of a product, just let me know. How about you, fam? What are your current favorites? :)
