Ate Rica's Bacsilog at Acienda Designer Outlet
Ate Rica's Bacsilog has branches now in Cavite. One is in Acienda Designer Outlet in Silang, Cavite and it is just a few minutes away from Tagaytay.
We went there on a Friday night at around 8 o'clock and it is not crowded. It is best to go here on a weekday imo. There are no lines as well and we are their last customer for that day. Haha. We ordered two Bacsilog, one Nuggetsilog, and one combination of bacon and tapa.
BACSILOG is inspired by the famous Filipino dish called Tapsilog and it started in DLSU Taft, Manila. Bacsilog is a combination of bacon, sinaing (not sinangag or fried rice) and itlog (egg). Ate Rica added liquid seasoning and her special cheese sauce to add more flavor.
So for my verdict of the Bacsilog, I have a mixed opinion about it. Without Ate Rica's special cheese sauce, it is ordinary. The liquid seasoning (which is I believe, from a known brand lol) is quite pretty dominant in this meal. They give quite an amount of rice. For 74 pesos, this meal is not that bad. It is still a decent meal. I just don't get the hype, tbh. Haha. Sorry. This is just my honest opinion. It is still worth a try though. We have different preferences, so you might as well like it like the others. :)
