Face Republic Perfect Cover BB Cream Review

When it comes to Korean foundations or BB creams, us Filipinas find it hard to find the shade since they are made for lighter skin tones. I am so happy when I found out that FACE REPUBLIC, a Korean skincare brand, is conceptualized here in the Philippines. They take our skintone and environment into consideration. How awesome is that? 😍

It is my first time to try one of their product but I've seen them online for quite a few times already. So for today, I will be reviewing their PERFECT COVER BB CREAM.

Warning ⚠ HOT STUFF! 🔥

Consistency and Finish

Since this is a BB cream, the consistency is not runny but a little goes a long way.

On the left: Photo taken just a few seconds after blending (evening settings, artificial light). It looks dewy and a bit lighter on my skin.

On the right: Photo take a few minutes after blending (Daylight, natural). The BB Cream surprisingly adapted on my skin tone.

On the left: Photo taken under direct sunlight (golden hour). Look at that glow!

On the right: Photo taken under normal daylight.

10/10 ⭐ Hands down to this BB Cream! This is now my current favorite and my go-to. I fell in love with it! To be honest, I was hesitant at first because I found out that it has only one shade. Haha! This is the first time that I used a product that legit adapts on the skin tone. Daebak! The coverage is actually buildable. I didn't go all the way when I used it on my photos because I was after the second skin effect and I was able to achieve it. I decided to set it with powder so it is not dewy on the photos. Even if you apply twice, it doesn't feel heavy on the face. It has a minimal scent. I also like that they have this in sachets. It'll help my tipid girls out there. 😉 This retails for 599 pesos and for a Korean skincare product, the price is reasonable. I am now interested to try more products from Face Republic. They look promising!
