Taste of Heroes: A Must Try Cafe and Restaurant in Dasmarinas, Cavite!
Taste of Heroes is another business that opened up despite the pandemic. What I love about them is that they have coffee, frappe, smoothies, milktea, and food. Masarap and affordable!
We were able to talk with the owners and heard their business story. It was not easy for them at first but I am glad they were able to come up with Taste of Heroes and they are opening another branch soon in Silang, Cavite.

The owners started their business as Mango Hero during the mango graham craze somewhere in 2018. They realized that the mango graham craze won't last long because the milktea trend started. So they come up with Taste of Heroes where they made more drinks like smoothies and frappes to cater more of their customers' needs.
Taste of Heroes is a small cafe in Villa Nicasia, along Congressional Road. It may look small but it is cozy because of the wooden accent.
And this is what it looks like inside..
The cafe is small and can only accommodate a few people inside but you can order for takeout and delivery. We went there in mid Feb but they still have the Christmas decorations. Cutesy!
THE MENU
They have a lot on their menu even on food which I really like especially in cafes since not all serve food.
THE FOOD
🥑 Avocado Hero (smoothie)
This is their best seller. I don't really like Avocadoes but this one is really good. No wonder why it is their best seller.
🍓 Strawberry Hero (smoothie)
You know I am biased with this one! Haha. But one thing I like about it is that it has real strawberries.
🍪 Java Oreo Cookie (frappe)
Hindi tinipid sa oreos!
☕️ Cakepuff Caffe Latte & Cookies and Cream
If you like coffee, you definitely should try their Cakepuff Caffe Latte. Soo good!
🍗 Chicken Wings With Fries
I rarely eat chicken wings but this one is good! I love the honey glaze.
🍕 Shawaco Pizza (Shawarma Pizza)
This is by far the best shawarma pizza that I have tried. It's meaty and the sauce that they used is really for shawarma. Will definitely go back here for this! A must try!
🎂 Ferrero Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and Blueberry Cheesecake
These are made by the owners' relatives. I love the ferrero one more!
🍨 TOH Ice Cream (Strawberry/Blueberry)
This is another favorite of mine. It's like a bingsu but the texture is different. Kinda addicting! Haha.
VERDICT
This cafe deserves the hype and attention! Take it from me. Also, Nicasia is close to my alma matter which the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. If it opened back in my college days, isa na ako sa suki at tambay dito even my friends. Haha! Their food are masarap (good) and affordable compared to most cafe. Okay din yung serving and ingredients hindi ka tinipid.
I can't wait for their Silang branch!
