L'Oreal Infallible Long Wear Makeup Review

First of all, I would like to thank Rhea Bue again for this products. I won her giveaway last December 2016 and I am so happy that they are now complete. Follow her on instagram @iamthedoll and check out her blog rheabue.comThank you so much, Love!❤

And of course, I would love to do a review about these products for you. Please note that I have a fair complexion and a combination skin (oily on the the nose and area circling the mouth especially on the upper lip and the rest is dry). Some products may or may not work on me, but it doesn't mean that it will be the same for everyone. It is still a case to case basis since we all have different skin type and complexion.

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Liquid Foundation

This product has SPF 18. As seen on the product description, it is enriched with hydrating hyaluron and extreme hold pigments for optimum comfort. It claims to have no transfer, no visible imperfections, no visible shine, no dryout, no mask-effect. I did a little research on the web about hyaluron and I found out that it "secures moisture and creates fullness—youthful skin naturally abounds with hyaluronic acid" (organicbeautyandskin.com).

I got mine in 120 VANILLA and it just matches my skin. It also has a yellow undertone which is a good thing. It has a light to medium coverage but it is very buildable. The consistency of this foundation is much heavier than the True Match foundation. It is not super light weight on the face. By the way, this has a very minimal scent but to me it is not bothering at all. It comes on a glass bottle and has a pump. This liquid foundation works better on me with Nichido Final Powder in Creamy Glow. The finish of this foundation is semi-matte, maybe because of the moisturizing effect. Does it really last long? Yes, this liquid foundation can really last long on my combination skin even if I sweat a lot.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16H Powder

Product description:
  • Never cakey, never flat
  • Shine-control
  • Matte finish
  • Wears up to 16 hours
  • Oil-free
  • Air-fine texture
I got mine in the shade 500 Sun Beige. This powder has a very fine texture. It also has a scent but I can't tell what it is. It is just very minimal though. When I first used this together with the liquid foundation, it got a little cakey on me and this shade is dark on my skin.

Just like other powder, it comes with a mirror and a sponge. I really like the packaging of this product. It is very sleek and handy plus the black and red colors. I like that this product comes in a sponge and not a powderpuff. Also, I can't really use this with the foundation since the shade that 500 Sun Beige is darker than the foundation that I got which is 120 Vanilla and on my skin as well.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray & Set

This product claims to give long lasting finish and extends just-applied makeup look. As seen on the product description, it has micro-fine texture and it used for post-makeup. For the instructions, shake it well before using. Hold 8" to 10" away from the face with eyes closed. Spray 4 to 6 times in an X & T motion. Avoid spraying in eyes.

To be honest, I don't like the smell of this product. I am not sure if a setting spray should really have a scent like this but the smell is really strong and unpleasant. This is actually my first setting spray so I have no idea on the scent. When I used this product, it gave me a  little droplets on the face but it dries quickly.

L'Oreal Infallible 10H Lipstick

This lipstick has satin/semi-matte finish. I have a separate review and lip swatches for this products. You can check it out on my previous post or CLICK HERE.

Final Verdict

I used the L'oreal Infallible 24hr liquid foundation for this look with the Nichido Final Powder that is why it doesn't look cakey. The pimple marks on my face were covered quite well. For my lips, I used the L'oreal Infallible 10hr lipstick in Refined Ruby. I love that the foundation made my skin look fresh.

Out of all the L'oreal Infallible products that I have, I like the 24H liquid foundation the most. Next is the 10H lipstick. I can't really tell if I like the 16H powder since it is really dark for my skin and the setting spray since I don't like the scent of it.

Here are the prices of each product:
L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Foundation - 700.00 pesos
L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte 16HR Powder - 600.00 pesos
L'Oreal Paris Infallible 10H Lipstick - 500.00 pesos

  1. I've always wanted to try something from the Infallible line. Almost bought the setting spray, though! Based on your post, I think I'll buy the liquid foundation nalang, parang okay siya. :)

    1. Not sure sa setting spray nila kasi okay naman sya sa iba. Or maarte lang talaga ako sa amoy nya? Haha! Okay yung foundation nila for normal to dry skin. Yung ibang may oily skin di okay daw sa kanila. Anyway, thank you for reading this post. Sana nakatulong somehow. 😉

  2. The foundation looks really good on your skin! I prefer a glowy look that's why I use the True Match liquid foundation, but this is interesting! I might try this with a dewey base for balance. Love reading your review, Laine! :)
