Makeup Revolution x Soph Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review

My niece gave this gorgeous palette to me as her pasalubong. She now lives in London but she had a short vacation here in the Philippines last May. I haven't tried any makeup products from Revolution Beauty London and I am so happy to have this eyeshadow palette! She asked me to post a review on the blog and some of my friends also requested it so here it is! :) She also gave me the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer so let me know if you also want me to make a review! ;)

In this photo, the shimmery shades may seem a little messy, maybe because I pressed it a bit too much when I swatched it?

I like the packaging very much. The box and the palette itself has rose gold details. It is simple but very chic. Everything is also written on the palette like the ingredients, shelf life, manufacturer and weight. The name of the shades are not written on the palette but it comes with a clear plastic with the names on it. So better not throw away the plastic if you care about the shade names. Haha!

SWATCHES

First Row

Second Row

Third Row. My favorite row!

Fourth and Last Row

My favorite shades are Smokey Bronze, Mixed Berries, Petrol, Danger, Festive Flame, and Copper Coin.

I really like how pigmented each shades are. The color payoff is also good. Compared to the eyeshadow palettes that I have, it might be a bit chalky but this doesn't have the powdery texture. The texture is fine which makes it very easy to blend.

Petrol is one of my favorite shades. It looks dark on the palette but it is different when you swatch and use it in the eyes. It is a beautiful purple shade which is perfect for the glam look. I also like how pigmented Nightmare is. It is really black! Mug Cake and Rosewood might look similar on the first glance and on the camera but Mug Cake has a warm brown while Rosewood is a cool tone brown shade.

What I also like about this palette is it comes with a full-size mirror! What more can you ask for?

REVIEW

I used Mixed Berries, Fairy Lights and Pink Champagne on this look. It has been a while since I last used an eyeshadow palette so please don't judge it. I am still in the process of learning. :p  Also, excuse my messy brows! Hahaha!

So would I recommend this palette?

You get 24 shades in one palette with a full-size mirror for only 700-1,000 pesos?! Definitely worth the money! I like how this palette can give me a day to night makeup look. All of the shades are pigmented and blendable. There are some online sellers on Instagram like Aluxxe Beauty Studio who sells makeup from Revolution Beauty.

Let me know what you want to see next on my blog.
