Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant

LIME AND BASIL THAI RESTAURANT was our second restaurant for our food crawl. I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this restaurant. I know, I am from Tagaytay but I haven't been there. Haha! Thank you Zomato PH! ;) This restaurant is not actually in Tagaytay but it just a few minutes away.

The place is really good. Everything is almost instagramable. The lighting inside the restaurant was kinda dim though. Good thing I had my camera with me.

The ambiance is very relaxing.

FOOD

Fresh Spring Rolls. This is far my favorite among the dishes they served.

Lime and Basil. This is my second favorite. I was hesitant to try at first. I am not into vegetables, to be honest. But this is an exemption. I tasted it and I liked the tamarind dressing in it. It really goes well with the vegetables.

Tom Yum Goong. If you have read my previous food reviews, I have a low tolerance for spicy foods and this dish has a spice on it. I tasted it, of course, and it is surprisingly flavorful.

Tom Yum Goong. Hot and sour soup with shrimps.

Kaeng Deng Kha Moo. Crispy Pata with red curry sauce.

Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashews.

Kao Pad Saparod. Pineapple Fried Rice. The food presentation of this dish is the bomb! The fried rice is also good!

Kao Neiw Mamaung. Sticky Rice with Mango. This is also good! I didn't know that sticky rice would go well with mango!

Thai Iced Tea. Who doesn't love milk tea?

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Overall, it is indeed a great place to dine. For me, it is one of the best restaurants here in Tagaytay. It might be pricey to others but their food is so worth it. There are a lot of people who go here especially on the weekend.

Thank you so much for hosting, Lime and Basil Thai and Restaurant! And thank you to Zomato PH as well. :*
