Where To Stay in Davao: Waterfront Insular Davao

On our fourth day in Davao del Sur, we spend our morning packing because we moved to Waterfront Insular Hotel. It is 15 to 20 minutes away from our first hotel, the El Bajada Hotel. We decided to check in to another hotel just for experience and leisure. Haha!

It is just a few minutes away from the airport. The hotel itself is actually a few meters away from the main road or hotel gate. If you're going to commute, it will be a few minutes walk. But the guard at the hotel lobby can call for a taxi for you if you're going to take one. They offer free mall transfers to SM Lanang Premier and Abreeza Ayala Mall with daily schedule.

This is the comfiest bed I've ever laid on! Haha. The room interiors looks classic with the wooden details.

Our reservation includes breakfast buffet. There are a lot of foods to choose from!

But these really caught my attention. I love pancakes, waffles and french toast! Hehe.

It rained when we checked-in but we still dipped quick in the pool. The next day, the sun is up again! By the way, they have restaurants, cafe and bar inside the hotel premises.

Thoughts

Waterfront Insular Davao is a four star hotel. It is not cheap but if you have extra money for accommodation, I'd definitely recommend them. We only stayed here for two days and a one night but we had a good experience. Well, what do we expect from a four star hotel? Hehe.
