How to Get PSA Certificates Online via PSAHelpline.PH

Being an adult, I learned the importance of having your birth certificate and other documents with you. I am thankful that it is one thing I learned from my Mom. She always gets our updated documents just in case we need it. It's very useful and handy to have copies with you as it is a basic requirement in life such as employment, getting a valid ID, and legal documents. Do you agree?

However, sometimes getting these documents is hard. I remember queueing up in the morning at the nearest office to get my birth certificate. We would get it in the afternoon. It's harder these days now we're in a pandemic. You have to get an appointment on their Facebook page as the facility doesn't accept walk-ins. Surprisingly, the online appointment is always full for like the whole week or month. Quite surprising, right?

One day, my cousin lost his birth certificate. He told me he needed one as it is his school requirement for enrollment. I searched online on how I can get one and if it can be delivered straight to our house. We prefer convenience nowadays, right? Especially that the PSA office is more than an hour away from our home.

I saw PSAHelpline.ph and they offer these services. We tried their service for the first time and we were amazed at how easy we got his birth certificate. We got it in less than a week!

You know I like to share sensible stuff. This is why I decided to share this experience with you! It's easy and convenient as long as you are getting your own or your kids/Parents PSA Certificates.

You may save this for future reference when you need to get a PSA Certificate!

What is PSAHelpline.PH?

PSAHelpline.PH is an accredited partner of Philippine Statistics Authority and is powered by Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc. They are authorized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to accept requests for copy issuance of PSA birth certificate (certificate of live birth), marriage certificate (certificate of marriage), death certificate (certificate of death), and Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR).

They’ve been providing a reliable alternative for processing PSA document requests from the public for more than two decades. PSAHelpline.ph complies with the rules and protocols set by the PSA and the Data Privacy Commission on the proper handling and delivery of civil registry documents.

How can you get your PSA Certificates online via PSAHelpline.PH?

STEP 1.

Go to https://psahelpline.ph/ to place an order.

Since I already mentioned it, not everyone is eligible to get your or someone's PSA Certificates. The price list can be seen on their website.

PRICES

Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate - 365 pesos
CENOMAR - 420 pesos

Please note that the fees here are higher than the actual PSA Certificate as they have service fee and courier fee. But for me, it’s still worth it as we don’t have to get an appointment and line up. It’s also the same if you’re going to the facility, spend money for gas or transpo fee. It’s the convenience you’re paying for.

STEP 2.

Choose which PSA Certificate you will be getting (Birth, Marriage, CENOMAR, or Death Certificate). I don't think you can order different PSA Certificates in one go. It's just ONE PSA Certificate under one name per transaction. But you can order as many copies as you need.

STEP 3.

Again, as I have mentioned, not everyone is eligible to get your or someone else's PSA Certificates. You have to confirm this before you proceed with your order. If it's for your family member, it will look like this.

I do understand that PSA is strict on this matter as these are legal documents and can be used in illegal transactions if not delivered to the right owner and persons. Let's be mindful of that.

STEP 4.

Fill out your details. All fields are required. As for the Valid ID, this is a requirement by PSAHelpline.ph. Select one Valid ID that you can present upon delivery.

I do understand that PSA is strict on this matter as these are legal documents and can be used in illegal transactions if not delivered to the right owner and persons. Let's be mindful of that.

These are the list of acceptable Valid ID:
  • Philippine Passport issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

  • Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Unified Multi-Purpose ID/eCard
  • Social Security System (SSS) Unified Multi-Purpose ID
  • Voter’s ID issued by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC)
  • Postal ID issued by Philippine Postal Corporation (PhlPost)
  • Senior Citizen’s ID Card issued by the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and/or local government units (LGUs)

STEP 5.

Validate your full name. They will also require your Father’s name and Mother’s maiden name

STEP 6.

Fill out the delivery details. All fields are required. They deliver nationwide but there might be remote areas that are not covered by their delivery service.

Make sure you put the correct delivery address so there won’t be a problem during the delivery.

STEP 7.

The purpose of the request is required. I think there might be additional information needed for some purposes like Foreign Employment.

STEP 8.

You're almost done! The next step is the payment. You can pay online or over-the-counter whichever is convenient for you.

As for my experience, I always use my credit card so I don't have to go out over-the-counter. Gcash and Paymaya are also another convenient online payment nowadays.

STEP 9.

Right after placing an order, you will already receive email updates such as order confirmation.

Just for reference, this transaction is from my Uncle's birth certificate. I also put the dates there so we can have an example. We placed an order on September 26, Sunday. They were able to process and release it the next day. It is already with the courier on September 28. It was delivered to us on September 29.

The courier is strict with the delivery and asked for a Valid ID. For my cousin's, it was delivered by Entrego. As for my Aunt's and Uncle's, it was delivered by 2GO.

STEP 10.

After doing all the steps, you now just have to wait for the delivery. As for our experience, we live in Tagaytay City which is considered provincial but we got ours in less than a week. The delivery may vary depending on your location and if there are issues with the releasing of the PSA Certificate.

The receipt from PSA is also included on the shipment. I just don’t know where my Uncle placed it, that's why it’s not included in the photo above.

Here are the estimated delivery dates:
For Metro Manila, the document will be delivered within 3-4 working days.
For Provincial, the document will be delivered within 7-8 working days.

It’s easy and convenient, right? Hope I was able to help you. If you think this article will be useful for you in the future, you may add this to your bookmark!
