This one cafe quickly captured my heart. Cafe Maruja 🌺 is a cozy beachfront cafe and it is definitely a must-try when you go to Boracay. They offer buddha bowls, pizza, coffee, smoothie bowls, toasts, burgers, and many more!

I'm not sure but the cafe may be named after Maruja who is a character from Mars Ravelo's love story of two immortals based on the Filipino comic book. There are also films about it in the industry.

This was a late post. We went there last November 2021 and it was not that crowded at that time. We just finished our boat tour and it was already evening when we passed by the area and saw this cafe. I so regret putting this on our itinerary for our last day. If we were able to try this prior, I'd definitely go here every day. Haha!

There's also a restaurant at the back part and I think it's also from the same company. They have an airconditioned indoor sitting and al fresco dining. We prefer outside facing the beach. We don't always get to see this view. Hehe!

The place is instagramable and it gives that boho-chich beach vibe. Very summer vibe at all seasons!

When we passed by the first time, there are actually a lot of people there, and maybe because it was nighttime. We went there before we leave and took our flight. Surprisingly, we were the first ones there. It was before lunchtime.

Their staff was so accommodating and very friendly. I had a hard time choosing what to order because we only have limited time since we will still catch up on our flight.

I ordered Cafe Bombon (210 pesos) which is their version of Spanish Latte. The ones I want to order takes time to be cooked so I ended up ordering Nutella Oreo Mallow Bomb (355 pesos).

Their Cafe Bombon is so good! I ordered this because I think it's their best seller. Just perfect for my coffee fix before catching up on a flight. Haha. I really love sweet crepes and Nutella Oreo Mallow Bomb is heaven for me! It includes an ice cream scoop (seen in the previous photo).

The food presentation is also on another level. I didn't expect the flowers! Haha. So sad we were able to try this only. I'll definitely go back here and try their smoothie or buddha bowls!

It is pricey, yes, but almost everything in Boracay is actually pricey. The price here is kinda reasonable considering they are beachfront and the quality of their food is also one of a kind. You can also work here as they have free wifi. They also have live bands sometimes.

Their store hours might change because of the pandemic. You may check their social media to get updates!
